NorthStar's Joe Lillie Named IEEE Treasurer for 2005
For Immediate Release. January 13, 2005, Birmingham, Alabama: IEEE, Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, recently selected its 2005 officers at a meeting in San Antonio, Texas.
The IEEE Assembly elected Joe Lillie, Director of Corporate Quality for NorthStar Communications Group, to serve a one-year term on the IEEE Board of Directors as Treasurer. Lillie currently holds the Regional Activities Treasurer position for the regional board, but will now be overseeing the global front, which will include $250M annually. Lillie's involvement with the IEEE spans more than thirty years, during which time he has held a variety of senior positions on both the International Board of Directors and the United States Board of Directors.
