NorthStar Communications Group Appoints Ed Salley to Senior VP, Wireless Services
For Immediate Release. January 29, 2002, Birmingham, Alabama: NorthStar Communications Group (NorthStar) announced today that Ed Salley has joined NorthStar as Senior Vice President of its Wireless Services business unit. In addition, Salley was named to the board of the NorthStar/Lemcon joint venture.
Most recently, Salley had served as a senior executive at AT&T Wireless in Redmond, Washington where he helped direct the start-up implementation, launch, and management of wireless voice and broadband data network operations, installation and maintenance, and customer order provisioning.
Salley has also held a variety of other senior positions during his long tenure at AT&T in the areas of system engineering, network operations, information technology, product management, manufacturing and distribution. He also served as President of AT&T Manufacturing Systems, an internal venture focused on fiber optic network solutions to large industrial customers.
