ENR Ranks BE&K/NorthStar 3 in Telecommunications Design and 2 in Transmission Lines and Cable
Johnson Interviewed for ENR Article

For Immediate Release.  July 23, 2007, Birmingham, Alabama:  ENR rankings for 2007 have been announced, and BE&K's wholly-owned telecommunications firm, NorthStar Communications Group, has improved to number 3 in the category of Top 25 Telecommunication Design Firms from number 5 in 2006.  BE&K/NorthStar Communications Group maintained its ranking at number 2 in the Top 5 in Transmission Lines and Cables.

In "Consolidation and New Technlology Are Forcing Firms to Stay Flexible," author Alex Padalka quotes Bill Johnson on issues about the changes in the telecommunications industry over the last few years.  Johnson comments upon the market dominance by recently consolidated communications firms as well as the trend toward those firms' providing equipment and services.
